Even in the inner city, I can still see the meteor shower through my window.
I was a kid once. A kid with a dream that I'd be the first kid to the moon and the first kid to deep space. I don't know what happened over time, if things got in the way of all that, but those dreams still remain in my heart.
I miss that part of me; the kid who wasn't afraid of making bold, risky dreams and goals and fighting tooth and nail until I proved everyone wrong. Nowadays, I can barely find the energy.
